Bootsale finds, Sunday Excellent funky jazz fusion Result mate.
-
It goes for ?15/20 these days. Ive never seen a reissue, but the OG should be easy to spot as it's a laminated sleeve.
-
Yep, great LP Kool Keith was on fine form. The only track I idn't rate on it was the Ced Gee ona about baseball.
-
coloursound the sound? was always a terd to me. It has one great ill sick track if I remember correctly. Great mix BTW, thanks a lot for sharing.
-
What about 'triangle' by the Beau Brummels is that classed as a concept LP? I also read that Bradly's Barn is great country rock record. I also rate it.
-
SF Sorrow all the way for me, it's dated much better than odgens. What about 'triangle' by the Beau Brummels is that classed as a concept LP?
-
Nas for me, as I don't like the WU. Shame Nas went down hill after his debut.
-
Ive always found them a very tepid affair. The only thing Ive ever kept of theirs is "black ant" 45.
-
I'm really enjoying these, thanks a lot for posting.
-
I thought "hard sell" was lame. I liked the other two though.
-
Yeah that's the Simonsound dudes... Don't think their responsible for it. They've covered two tracks that I'm aware of 'just begun', and 'tour de France'. I would like to hear this Moog cover, was it a modern record?

Travel Agency Green Lyte Sunday Both great records to my ears, and two I still need to pick up.

Every year or so, I dig this out and end up playing nothing else for about a week. I dug it out again last Thursday, and "What Could Be Better, Bi***" is playing as I type. I realise it's not super-obscure or anything, and that loads of people are…

'Pick Up the Pieces' is one of those tunes I can't stand anymore, sorry. Not saying it's bad, just that I would be happy to never hear it again. That's my take too......That said i'm not hating as they do have their moments.
-
It's a sad loss for graffiti when true all city legend like this passes. R.I.P. Watching stylwars will never be the same.
-
CURTIS MAYFIELD - "back to the world"... this does nothing for me. maybe i have no soul!) That's by far the best record in your post. I agree. i knew i'd get some flack for that as soon as i wrote it - - - but i stand by it. listened twice. it …

My girlfriend has a tape player in the car so I use them on the regular.
-
There's tonnes of good ones, but "Argon shook mix" and "REM sleep" really do it for me.
-
Good call.....Great single.

been reading about The Police lately, interesting story...anywho..Andy Summers turns 67(!) this year. Holy shit...pushing 70. Didnt think dude was that old. Andy Summers was in the last version of the Animals, so he was already a veteran by the t…

I'm a big fan of Bill Withers, and I think the previous posts cover most of what I would recommend. I can't believe no ones recommended "Making Music" yet which has on it possible my favourite track by him "don't you want to stay".
-
Quite a common Lp so can be picked up for cheap $15/20 should get you one no problem.
-
puma clydes all the way for me.
-
B/W whats the rock track on AEIOU 3 with the long drums/guitar jam that ends with "When Christ Had Mercy.... GLORIAAA" ? that would be MIND GARAGE - "recessional" from this LP: shouldnt be too hard to find (although maybe not dollar …
-
The De Wolfe records were often pressed with either label or both.... several of there LP's can be found with either the RWB label or the red one. What he said. Mines got the red label like yours, and its a definitely not a reissue.
-
No thank you. I'll stick to the original, which probably ranks somewhere in my all-time top 50. Another wholly unnecessary remake from the Hollywood crap machine... ...the original is one of my all time favourite movies it would pain me to watch…

I saw him live and he was possibly one of the worst acts Ive ever seen. I was so glad I was on the guest list so I could leave without feelin' I'd wasted my money.
-
so. where does one find this mix? my bad, i see it now!! I can't see it and I love Miami bass!
-
That Birds 'n Brass is pure pop goodness. Lots of other nice records there, too. Congrats! that reminds me of a joint off a conmen tape that i always wondered about. crazy bass line and drums and then some thick accented english singing about the…
