-
more pics http://www.knowngallery.com/tag/themac they brought prints to sell. you can prolly see most of those on their respective sites. i dont think we're making prints of the actual piece. its a memorial for a writer that passed away right on …
-
just the one big piece. they didnt want to clutter up the gallery with stuff. were gonna sell prints behind the counter too, but this show is more about paying respect to folks who have passed.

kofie and codak are in town for another show so i think someone called them up cuz now theyre gon paint in the backyard too. live.
-
mac used spraypaint. retna used brushes. icing the cans lowers the pressure of the compressed gas in the cans making the paint come out of the can at a slower rate. how that allows him to make his stuff is well beyond my means of understanding tho. …

im getting pretty decent at the adobe thing. it only took me 45 minutes to figure out the frame grab dealie. anyways, this is from a commissioned thing they did at this swanky penthouse. u can prolly see the finished piece on their websites.

yes, this is why pro8mm costs so much. they have "3 distinct scanning systems" of which i have no idea what theyre talking about most the time. but its listed on their website. but again, this is for quality professional imaging. i think telecine is…

Transferring a single 50ft reel of super-8 to digital shouldn't cost more than $20. I know a guy who does it for $0.15 per foot plus a flat fee for media (DVD or MiniDV). this sounds like telecine.
-
there is no minimum. u can buy 1 roll and go straight to digital for like $140. i think theres a pdf pricelist on the website. a cheaper alternative is to get the $30 processed roll and then take it to a telecine transfer spot. if you can find one…
-
i think kodak stopped making super8 film but there is a company in burbank that makes their own. its $30 for 1 roll and that includes processing. transferring to digital is about another $100. http://www.pro8mm.com
