For non-Southern 80s rock I'm thinkin' bout New Jersey's The Feelies. Good point about southern rock though, I'm thinkin' how much better - how much more umph - these groups got cause of more percussion.

Oh it's good. "Go" and "The Food" 'specially. I gotta say though, I think "The Corner" is one of the album's weakest and not that radio friendly. Not so sure why it was the single. 8.6/10
