I remember looking at the end credit sequence and scratching my head over the writer of the book, one Alan "Dr Licks" Slutsky...I was going, "Oh, so he's the guy who did all those Yngwie Malmsteen guitar transcriptions back in the days." (Granted, h…

Many Japanese hospitals don't have a 4th floor either. Many new residential buildings in this neck of the wood do not have any of the following: 4th, 14th, 24th etc (4 sounds like "Death" in Mandarin and Cantonese); 7th, 17th, 27th etc (Chinese mou…

It's definitely all about bootlegs in mainland China, or "factory defect". I recently copped a pair of Bape manhunt (that Clarks Wallabees ripoff) for about USD$40. It's looks pretty much like the real deal to me (Bapes are fake looking anyways). He…

but everytime i read anything he's quoted in it makes me wanna ralph. Anyone read the liner notes of his albums? It possibly takes a quadruple-gatefold cover to cover all the text of his "manifesto on sampling and hiphop", and it's still only an exc…

The new one had it's moments(best stuff was the relationship that develops between Ving Rhames and the Rifle Store dude-who I think was in the OG Assault on Precinct 13, which itself owed a lot to Night of the Living Dead). I agree it would have be…

I always considers the Dawn remake would fare much better if it's just a zombie movie riffing on the convention established by Romero and not called Dawn of the Dead. I mean, Dawn of the Dead featuring running zombies?

Nu-metal trailer music [groan]... As an interesting trivia, the other day I was listening to the Kevin Smith radio show with guest Edgar "Shaun of the Dead" Wright, Wright said apart from a cameo of one of the many zombies, Romero also asked him to…

Flawed as it is, I am not going to front on Kung Fu Hustle only because I've been a Stephen Chau fan ever since he started out on TV doing children program. I only have problem with the Deus Ex Machina type of ending he keeps on using since God of C…

Hope the MPD pads can be retrofitted with spongy MPC pads...but my guess is that the MPD pads are bigger than those MPC pads, no?
-
Same here. forget about breaking in the MPD pads because they cannot be broken in. They are as stiff as they are going to be because they are not the same made with the MPC pads.
-
They are not shipped to retailers yet. I have placed a pre-order and will let you know how the pads feel as soon as it comes in. Hopefully its not MPD redux because those MPD pads are way too stiff IMHO.
