i've done the drive from new orleans to austin (or vice versa) at least 30 times. it's 8 hours. only two ways to do it. take I-10 to 71 or you can take the 290 route into austin... really depends on whether you need to be in north or south austin…

I was told Austin to Corpus is around 3.5 hours drive?? didn't know that one, I've only driven from Htown to Corpus...I wasn't sure

Looks like we'll fly into Austin & check out Austin City Limits, rent a car, drive to see my friend in Corpus Christi for a day or two, go back to Austin for ARC, then travel up through Dallas & Little Rock to Memphis for a few days then dow…

8 hrs assuming you make no stops, there is no inclement weather and no Houston traffic, 8 hrs is still very unrealistic...there are a few speed traps in Louisiana where the speed drops to 55-60 on I-10...my uncle could go from Houston to New Orleans…

From I-10 Take Hwy 71 West to Austin instead of going all the way to I-35 in San Antonio. That will cut some time off your trip. agreed, I forgot about 71 you're right...except maybe he might want to stop in Saytown for a bit to take a look around, …

There's a new interview with JVC Force somewhere online where they talk about Strong island and one of the members is like "Don't give up the sample!!" and the other says "it's all over the internet". haha

Hey, The drum break and horn blast samples are "Easiest Way to Fall." The guitar sample is from "Unhooked Generation." Both songs are off of fine-ass Freda Payne's "Band of Gold" LP. Peace, Big Stacks from Kakalak thank you very much!

Definite favourite - I like that they did not cast someone really young in Moreau's role either. Supposedly, Tarantino has never seen the film. this was my understanding also...that Tarantino claimed to have never seen the film, which is actually s…

Yes, yes, and yes. The Cornell Woolrich novel is better than both films. Kill Bill definitely borrows from TBWB, in the usual Quentin Tarantino style. Bride Wore Black is pretty good, and 1,000x better than Truffaut's other Woolrich adaptation, Miss…

Jodorowsky comes from a Chilean mime/performance art background. So a lot of his movies have to be understood through actions as opposed to with the words. Santa Sangre is the most self revealing/autobiographical. Holy mountain is definitely the…

Santa Sangre is probably the one movie that I saw most often... along with Out Of The Blue by D. Hopper. For a couple of years, whenever I got involved with a new girl, I watched one of these two movies with her. If she didn't like it, I knew I was …

Yeah, I saw El Topo and Holy Mountain at the beginning of last summer on the big screen on U Penn's campus when the masters were doing their tour. great double bill...anyone seen Santa Sangre? Jodorowsky's Dune would have been amazing...still a bit …

#8 is D if I remember correctly. #6 is B (Guessing here.) Yes, 6 is correct also...it wasn't a pivotal or even major scene, so it would have been very easy to forget except for the fact it provided a lot of comic relief...
