Stoughton Press (sp?) is the only one in the US that still does them I believe. They call them tip-on covers or some such. Pretty damn expensive. I have their info and price sheet somewhere I'll try to find, it's been a while since I talked to them.

Well they really are sealed though...but I know what you mean. It's what they're not saying. I know many stores that mark them sealed to deter people from opening/listening to them.

I would make an educated guess of different pressing plants and/or plates used...but I'm kinda surprised they were still pressing mono copies in 1972.
