Yes, the song is also on the flipside of the "Crazy Legs" 45 on Eastbound. Not that hard to find on 45.

The main sample from the chours is Donald Austin's "Nanzee" from the Crazy Legs LP.

Good catch on that Lou Johnson LP. I would have to say it's his best album. Spent a few days down in NYC and stopped at all the regular spots and pulled these (except the Majestics, which was a cheap ebay find). Big thanks to Paycheck for The Ne…

There's like 3 good tracks on this... the rest kinda blows. You'll live. Dude, that's 3x the good tracks on a lot of LPs I know. That's a decent ratio. True. I found a couple copies a couple years ago... at first it's like "wow! this is pretty goo…

What are you complaining about? If that guy is willing to pay more than you then he wants it more than you. What does it matter where he's from. that is some soulstrut logic right thur. so having more disposable income = wanting something worse…

Gil-Scott Heron - Winter In America Wilmer & The Dukes - S/T I always come accross these 2 LP's. I have to force myself not to pick up anymore.

The Hudson Valley does have spots with good records. You just have to keep hitting these spots over and over again. Between Newburgh and Albany as well as Utica you can still pull a grail pretty cheap every once in awhile.

and this.... Which I picked up today at a local Salvation Army store. Its a Christian Folk Psych LP that contains the song "Ride On" which has a long drum solo that leads into a Jaw Crunching Drum Break. And the song "Universal Rhythm" which is a …

Hearing beats in 2007 with "Impeach the President" looped makes my eyes roll back in my head like a gottdamn zombie. I think we can add "Skull Snaps" and "Synthetic Substitution" to the list too. Sorry to say. They're great, classic breaks, but I…

My winning percentage has been pretty low lately, maybe around 20%. I just got tired of trying to be a baller and win every record known to man.

Big fan of this guy Hey Non! You forgot this one...

man, I really would like a copy of this... you know the "sample" aspect of it, right? I'm not really a sample collector, but this is just too cool to ignore, for the song that used it, and how & how MUCH they used it... Would that be …

last week... I also found a mint copy of the Leroy Vinnegar LP for $1 at a junk store in Waterford, NY.

Most Johnny Guitar Watson LP's are usually common here. So when that one turned up it was priced at $7. But on ebay I've seen it sell between $30 - $40, not sure why that is though.

Went to an Upstate NY record and CD show today and pulled some serious heat. Biggest Scores of the day was the Tentacles Soundtrack for $10 Sealed, Hank Ballard LP for $5 and The Minx soundtrack for $25.

Heh...where you located, Manduro? I live in the Albany, NY area. So you might run into me at Last Vestige.

That's gotta be rough. Luckily my nemesises all don't know jack about soul, moder, or even jazz for that matter. There is actually one guy who knows a lot about rock, psych, and privates. ICE GRILL. Cool guy and all. But I have to pull together a…

Lately SS to me has become like Diet Coke. It has just one calorie of actual discussion about music, with the other 99% of the forums talking about what type of aluminnum foil strutters prefer. With that being said I click on less then 5%

Lot's of cool records Manduro, but are these your 2007 favs or are you just flexin' your crates? Actually I'm in the process of getting part of my collection insured. I was advised by the insurance agent to narrow down what was the most important t…

Based on a similar discovery by The Non, this seller is re-posting records that were in previous auctions. This pic is from the Popsike archives of an auction that ended on 3/2/06. The LP sold for $294 and had 20 bids. And this pic is from the s…
