US Pressings of Ege Papyasi have a skip on Vitamin Pap. Pretty sure mine plays fine. Have to check again but it did when I first got it. This factory pressing flaw is easy to miss as it is a forward skip nearly perfectly on time. I ne…

New Yorkers, give it up. I would like this in NM condition! Clouds will do... Are you sure this even exists as a gold label? I was thinking it must be since it is 378 ? But I could be wrong. Never seen it gold.

I am doing the same thing - moving from CA to New York and probably will have movers do it. 3000 lps and 1000 45s. Don't want them warped or damaged. Jason

Crap. get them to tour. I doubt very much they will tour and this is likely to be one of the last times they every play. If you live in OH, IL, KY and MI this is a no brainer. Matthew Watson - great drummer....

Good for $100?:[/b] yes for $50 Can't speak Love this record. But $100 is WAY too much! Solid NO on this one Super-size YES. no Brainer here. $100 is highway robbery Heard it and thought it blew. I'd still buy it for $50 yes or no SO…

It is hard to say if 10,000 is a lot without seeing the collection first. Wish I knew how to make a poll I'd ask what others throught there collection was worth out of curiousity.

Mitch Mitchell defeats Buddy Miles. It's no secret that one of the reasons the Experience Band was so great was that Mitch Mitchell straight up hated Hendrix and always tried to throw him for loops with time changes and jazz drumming tha…

Is this the OG label for this LP--I think it came out in 1969: Pretty sure OG was gold on this one too. Still SUPER TOUGH to find one way or the other.

Great record! A few copies poppin' up on ebay from time to time.

I did a photoshoot of Rhymefest a couple years ago when I was working as a journalist in Indianapolis. All around great guy who had his game sewed up tight! Glad to hear he is finally getting his props.

The building will be torn down starting today. They are turning it into a parking lot. Absurd. Old man Bach who shut down the business in the late 70's because the advent of video put him out of business. For 50 years he was assembling 16 mm fil…

Let me start off by saying I took a friend digging to a secret spot and he pulled Ultimates s/t (Graxam International) from a box. That really, really, really hurt. Spot 1 -$3 apiece Come Back Charleston Blue ost - sealed Terry Callier - What colo…

Few years ago I bought a huge jazz collection, maybe 5000 pieces, for $125. I am not joking! Trouble was 95 percent of the records were not in the sleeves. Dude had BOXES and BOXES of sleeves and 6-foot tall cylinders of records sitting in his basem…

Amazing!

I have the Time for Good Cheer record and I have to say it is more lounge than psych. Apparently the guys in the band have stated that they were not influenced by PSYCH. No Fuzz guitars, no backwards tape loops. It has a couple nice tracks but defin…

How is this record? I never see it while busting real world moves, but I've always been curious *pause* This is good Detroit soul. More ballads and midtempo. I don't really hear James Carr. I hate to compare him to another singer but more of …

Really, anyone want mine then? Darrell Banks Is Here! is a great soul album, but there is nothing really funky about it. Reminds me a bit of James Carr at times. Both his albums are dope and listenable all the way through unlike most of these F…

It's STILL too much money for that shite. What were there, like 10,000 copies pressed or somethin'? Geez... folls will never cease to amaze me. "In The Rain" is my joint, though. I believe this is Billy Wooten himself selling these records. It is…

That young dude's gonna be a Very nice. I'm getting. yeah man this shits niice... When is the album going to drop?
-
I understand someone found a small stash of this album recently, but has kept a tight lid on the number they are leaking out. But the supply may be one of the reasons the price has fallen....
