img src="http://www.zeiger.franken.de/Scans/12/Rhythm_&_Luis_R.B.-101_102_A.jpg" height=400 width=400 There's a place in Michigan that has 80 billion copies of this, with and without the picture cover. Homeless-era Andre Williams related.

I am selling on Friday and Saturday at the fair (LPs and 45s). Look for the table with the giant dixie flag and the combo TV-VCR playing eighth generation video dubs of the Beatles doing "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" live in Hamburg. We'll be next to tha…

Though this Tigers "destiny" shit is a little blown out of proportion (20 years ain't shit, ask anyone in Chicago), I am glad to see an AL Central team in the October Classic. Further proof that the ALC is the most rugged and talented division in a…

So you dudes are looking for the right thing, it's 80 Blocks From Tiffany's. See also Flyin' Cut Sleeves.

You and Andrew need to get with mustachioed, Fed Ex, hard rock promoter dude and put on a triple bill in-store with Nazareth, Mountain and Molly Hatchett. I would drive down for that.

Every single one of those girls on that link looks exactly the same.

Missy? Hit records... Appeared in some movies Shoe Deal anything i am missing? Perhaps the fact that Missy wrote (and published) pretty much every R&B hit of the '90s?

I looked through Tim's production credits... Jay-Z - Big Pimpin - of course a classic, but way too played out. Granted, Bun B does still do this at his live shows. Jay-Z - Dirt Off of Your Shoulder - also way too played out. Ludacris - Roll Out -…

If you can't get to Timbaland, you simply don't like frenetic club music that typically distances itself from hip-hop disguised as hip-hop. Point taken. Without getting into some kind of "state of hip-hop" argument, let me say that a large perc…

timbaland I somehow find it impossible that a person could find NOTHING to like from the this man's expansive body of work. If you can't get to Timbaland, you simply don't like hip-hop. I said it.

Less than $80, more than $30. Terrible record, IMO.

Several good tracks, but overall it did not make a lasting impression on me. Seems loosely pasted together in an all too posthumous way. Would have much preferred Donuts be Dilla's final signature release. Took the words right out of my mouth.

The bass player's stance needs to be seen to be believed in that Youtube clip. YIKES. That's the true definition of SLAPZ. Germany in 1983 =

I went to the Banksy opening in LA and saw Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Keanu Reeves, Perry Farrell, Everlast and a zillion other C-list music dudes. I also saw Frodo. I did not see Oliver Wang. I am from Chicago and the scene was weird.

Stepney died in 1976. Evans lives on the East Coast.

Rhythm Makers 'Soul On' and GQ 'Disco Nights'. Sons of Darkness = Rhythm Makers = GQ Thus, the similarity.

Quite a few Folkways can be found with colored vinyl. I had a set of the Anthology of American Folk Music on yellow wax. Seems like red and yellow were the two color choices from Plastylite, as I've never seen other shades on Folkways LPs.

!!! We need a ream of these, dude.

All I know is that it's from New York. I have tried unsuccessfully to dig up any hard info on this record. So make that two people that want to know details on this.

up the academy A local sports radio dude here in Chicago was in this movie. And he let's you know it every day. What's up with Max Dugan Returns? Sidebar: Could anybody finish Ikari Warriors?

Dennis Green was in a funk band in the late '60s called the Thundering Herd. No shit.

I ordered around a hundred ILAM LPs from musicologist Hugh Tracey's son in Roodsport, South Africa a few years ago. The records had to be transported by horse(!) to Johannesburg before being shipped to New York. When they arrived here in Chicago the…

You can totally forget me showing you the trick with the Amazing Rhythm Aces LP.

Not that this is the case, but imagine how bad you would feel if you put a dude on supreme blast for not answering e-mails or not mailing purchased records and you later found out the person responsible was DECEASED. Dead people don't use phones or…
