I did like this, although it is covered in SFJ-ness [ agreed- but i think the arcade fire/decemberist/sufjan backlash is long overdue. (even though those groups DO have some jams.) And I think he blames Pavement for the lack of funk in todays rock m…

[quote Every time I see that cover, I think it's an ad for Oakley sunglasses. Not sure why. horrible typography. i think that's why i didn't buy it...

bill murray played himself out. the shark doth hath been jumped circa 2000 with Charlie's Angels. dude peaked in the mid-80's, made a glorious comeback in the mid- to late-90's, notably in Kingpin and Rushmore. he has since overexposed his quirky…

I think i might be done with this dude. Rushmore is in my top 3 favorite movies of all time, but I honestly thought about walking out of Life Aquatic[/b] . am i the only one that liked this movie? i admit it was completely style over substance - B…

-
i'm not sure what the consensus is on Broken Social Scene on the Strut but i love the whole catalog. this one is a little different in that it's supposed to be a solo album by Kevin Drew, but it sounds just like a more song oriented BSS drop. high…

Allow me to hatt on that record... But, not their success. I hope they make huge bank; i've more than gotten my enjoyment from their past catalog. Viva Isaac Brock. They kinda suck now- but i love me some of this record!
