Better than Arcade Fire!

What's everyones thoughts on Sinbad? Last time I saw his stand up (which has been years) I remember it being hilarious. Add some of his stand-up to my Netflix queue. your kidding right?
-
Chris Rock for Stand up. But he can't act for shit (except as a crackhead for some reason?). Chappelle had the sketch comedy on smash before he lost it. TIE.

EPMD just weren't that good They definitely got hits for days...but i kinda feel ya...

De La Soul - have not put out a crap record yet. Have you heard any of these ? I'm a fan of De La, but those were yes I have and I disagree. They had some nice tracks but in general i was a little worried about our boys. They came back …

I upped this on Utube awhile back. If all I ever saw was this, it would be enough. I remember seeing this on Video Music Box and i was sold! They were my all-time favorite group in 8th grade and in some waysI think they still are.

they're both great and their debuts both kind of suck. totally disagree. Can I kick it? Bonita Applebaum? Plug Tunin? Buddy? Who's got a better debut? Rich Boy?

the real question: vs. "I was born in the boogey down cat-scan..." I went back to The Low End Theory the other week and found myself surprisingly bored. De La Soul is Dead however still gets regular burn. i always liked Dave/Dove/Trugoy…

I say the sabbath was much more innovative, I mean its easy to look at something like War Pigs and see it as a cliche now, but remember Paranoid came out in 1970. Way different than what was happening then. I agree with that.

Sabbath. In a landslide. If Plant were as cool a vocalist as Ozzy it'd be a lot closer but that whailing shit grates at times. But Ozzy and Sabbath made some wack records: ZEP WINS!

while we're at it, please school me on how Zeppelin and the Stones are cruel rip-offs of Black American music. I've heard that sentiment expressed on here but I can't say I really know either of their music enough to know what's up. School the kid…

I've DJ'd at clubs in LA where they asked me to stop playing black music. I've had it in NY too.

if you're curious and patient, i think you can get a lot out of recent releases that include the canadian, daniel bejar. try destroyer's rubies[/b] - basically his solo project - or his more recent work with the frontmen from frog eyes and wolf p…

I'm interested in hearing this. I've been totally bored with "indie" lately. Shins, Arcade fire, Decemberists, Death Cabzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - boring! Remember when Indie was kinda weird and eccentric? I guess that might be Animal Collective (who …

remember when she was considered hot?

i'm jumping aboard the bandwagon. I think it's his best album and the best hip-hop full length this year so far (not really saying much I guess...). I acctually laugh out loud to some of the tracks. It's like i'm 13 again.

Andre's killing them again on "What a Job". I think the Devin and the Pharoe are on my hip-hop list this year.
