Not much in my experience. Everything I've ever heard on the label has been aweful noodley jazz fusion. But some of the covers look so promising. Weird. There's not much "jazz fusion" (noodley or not) in the Enja catalogue.

Do I have a hope in hell of getting this as a 12"? Kinda doubt it--seems like Atlantic/Asylum isn't even doing vinyl on a lot of their 12"s anymore. There's a promo 12" out.

Got the same Lyn sample as It Takes 2 & dude is rapping like a British Mush Mouth. It's amazing. That's a dope tune! It's called Old School. Lyn Collins and Galactic Force Band are the samples. Isn't that song called "Pussy Hole"? "Pussyole (…

Isn't Mary Lou's Mass a reissue of her Peace album with some extra tracks thrown in? Year is ca. 1969-1970. Great music nonetheless.

The Good the Bad and the UGly Another case of an essential soundtrack. Risto and Chan never sent me their ill westerns that may rival this masterpiece. Blondie, Tuco and Angel Eyes: unfukwitable. Tony, PM me your address and I'll send you this:

The best thing about this track is that it inspired me to listen to "Public Enemy #1" for the first time in years.

damn risto. im not not mad at it. pretty good. Well, it's definitely better than anything they've done (that I've heard) in 13+ years, but I don't know...Chuck D sounds like he's rapping to a different track, off-beat but in a bad way. He seems to …

Ice-T in Helsinki, 1991.

So...if the record was originally released pre-1967 and it appears without the tree-label, then I guess that would make it a second pressing. This might, or might not, be the TRUTH.

Geeky euro jazz label question: Anybody know which saba label pressings had a "tree" and which were originally pressed sans-tree? (same pink "saba" label, no MPS) The switch had to come around 67... but I'm not sure which got a "tree" label press …

On Dobre, there's a jazz record by Ray Crawford and a soul LP by Sonny Til (Back To The Chapel, I think) that I know of...anything else besides the well-known stuff that's worth checking out on this label?

Do you have soundclips of this?

From 1999, but 25 Lighters is definitely a classic.

A great, great record. I bought mine in 1989 and it still sounds fresh.
