Try reading LaserWolf's post again, especially the first three lines. Then try reading a book on the subject. If they are "basically" the same, why do the societies who practice these "same" religions differ so greatly? Clash of civilizations, eh? …

That's because they are.

What is hilarious about that post?

So all atheist presidents are dictators or what is it you're suggesting?

Slightly off topic: The German-only Family Of Percussion LP with Archie Shepp has that one track where he raps in a way that's clearly influenced by contemporary rap music, not Last Poets...I think that the LP is from 1980.

I have an extra New Steps, NM-/NM-.

I guess I'll crack the seal then... What up Tony?

A classic jam, thanks for posting. I still remember the first time I saw this video.

I don't think it's worth much more than ten bucks or so.

Nice score on that clean ass Boogaloo Jones "Sweetback"...every copy I have encountered looked like test subjects for some bizarre ringwear study I've been meaning to post about this. Almost every copy I've seen, including the one I own, have had b…

Almost two years ago for one euro and it still warms my mind.

Come on man, can't you do better than that?

Damn, no one wants a 1960's Euro jazz raer?

It's not to say that I condone all of these things, it's just that politics is about priorities and overall I see the basket of policies Bush has adopted to prosecute the war against Islamic supremacists as imperfect and understandable[/b], not as w…

He's just a talentless hack who every once in a while has a good idea. Keep in mind that he was also one of the writers of Once Upon A Time In The West, which is one of the few perfect films ever made. I haven't seen too many of Fulci's films, but …

Last one I saw was "Summer Of Sam", which I thought was OK. I should check "Inside Man" and "25th Hour". 25th Hour along with DTRT is the best film he's done, IMO.

I found some nice records (like a mint Rhythmatism) from the fleamarket in Trastevere. There were a couple of sellers at the south east end of it, most guide books know the place.

is a good read on the subject.

Grizzly Man.

The Garland Green LP on UNI is pretty good.

Sorry for the popsiked pic (no fake finds), can't use a camera right now. Walking into a local shop, I finally laid my eyes on this stupidly raer (supposedly 200 copies pressed) Swedish jazzfunk piece, and of course scooped it up. Have a listen: …

It now turns out that Hillary forgot to tell Bill, John Edwards and everyone else that she borrowed their words whilst crusading against Obama. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEOjttmqIrc&feature=related
