I take my state nickname game serious You'll have to get the Now Again version then.

Often artists that just keep on doing their thing without tragedies and scandals are overlooked in the media spotlight. Much respect to Herbie and this post reminded me I should get more of his LPs, still haven't gotten around to "The Prisoner".

Dawn of the Dead remake is better than the Romero OG. Yup.

Isn't rebooting a franchise different from a remake? When I think remake, I think same plot, new movie.

VG DOWNER FOR LIFE... ...at least when it comes to 45s. I have some 45s that look WHOOOPED! but play great. Increasingly picky about lp condition these days though. Yeah, I mostly buy LPs but if you want minty 45s, you'll probably have to wait a…

Great work and congrats! What Japanese bootleg was it that Madlib sampled it from? Dress i bet there was no "japanese bootleg", i've never heard about it, not seen it, nor does anyone I know out there.... more bullshit spinning from the label we …

I'll buy this as soon as I possibly can.

I'd like to see Bey remake - Krull and Nighthawks I could see Bay giving "Night of the Comet" a go.

I should add: technically, Lucas remade all three of the OG trilogy with "new digital effects". Most of which added nada and fanboys thought made the films worse. HAN SHOT FIRST! But back to the topic at hand: What I think is so weird about a lot…

(It's all about the Bj?rk & Tori Amos loopz in '10): Really like the whole G-Side album.

Brainfreeze was cool and damn that was forever ago. Dudes - it sounds dated because it IS. For me personally, it still sounds good except for the more "turntablist" parts. They didn't sound that good to me when BF came out either but now I just fee…

The Hard Sell is mostly impressive from a technical standpoint. I listened to it yesterday and I especially like when they recreate famous beats with the loop pedals. Some of it is more experimental and not really my cup of tea. I agree with C7 - p…

I played at a store a week ago and even though you don't get the direct feedback you get from a dance floor, I like playing stuff like Shuggie Otis and having people come up like "What is this"? Easy to forget how much good music that's basically un…

take THAT skinny Euromen!

I just moved, disassembled and reassembled my 4 by 4 expedit. It feels a bit wobblier now but it should hold up ok. Wasn't dude from Funny People German, btw? I feel like I remember all references to Sweden in movies I see.

Good stuff!

He's spot-on about Madlib. It's the lack of quality control that's the problem there, although the hordes of Madlib stans declaring his every last note to be a work of genius doesn't really help anyone's perspective. I just listened to Mos Defs Ecs…

If I recall that Mike Heron Lp has one nice cut on it....but the rest is dissapointing IMO...when i copped it I thought itd be on some Zappa ish.... I'd even say: I pity the fool who has to listen to that Mike Heron album. And I'm a huge fan of th…

Big Lebowski is a heavy fruit in the LA basket for sure.

The beat sounds really really sloppy to me and no real play off the three collaborating together. Video's decent though. Agreed - these guys together on a decent beat are going to sound pretty good regardless but it is a bit sloppy. A few years ag…

So... what happens when your superiors read this thread?

Super. Street. Fighter. 4. Dealt I haven't had a new gamesystem since forever but I'm gonna get an xbox and an arcade stick when this comes out. SF4 is just too much fun. Played GOW2 when it came out and it was really good. It's not in the cards …
