I must admit that those thin cardboard mailers drive me nuts too. Most dealers are smart enough to throw in an extra piece of cardboard. Maybe that should be most 'reputable' dealers.....

For me, the pain somehow gets in my shoulders and neck more than anywhere else - I guess I spend too long looking through rows and rows of 45s.....

Don't forget the obscenely rare The Soul Lifters "Hot Funky And Sweaty" / "Brothers And Sisters" HOUSE OF THE FOX 1935

... and then theres those fucking cocksnots that want to put records on hold at a show and then walk away only to come back later crying about not having enough money now and having to put some of the records back. That's fucking weak.

I also hate when you cop a bargain on a hot piece, then it's still got the $1 price tag on it when you're tryin' to do the hustle... dudes always be on some "but you got it for a buck" steeze... Always scan the other side of the 45 label when I se…

Princeton Record Exchange is definitely the worst. Alright, one other place, but I'm not mentioning it.

As always, interesting stuff. That Richard Rome is my kinda sound.

I have a Willis Jackson album that also has a solid black label, with the Prestige logo up top. Totally out of character with anything else Prestige would have released around the same period. I think the title is More Gravy. I can confirm that Mo…

oh yeah. Googled for hours, but didn't find a Prestige label site....

But Peanut Country has an address of Tennesse or something, right? (I'm trying to do this at work with my terrible memory....). Interesting...
