Orig issue is rare...you can find the Argentinian issue of it much easier for some reason. Great record indeed, Luis eca and deodato arrangements.

I'm waiting to pounce on the right deal on a rackmount ethernet RAID 0 storage array. The way to go for backups and since it's ethernet you can put it on a network too.

terrible.

The Mackies that are designed by EAW sound really nice but they are bright and not very warm in the low end, though they extend well. Good advice to drive the amp hard and mix levels low. Are the QSC models really good bass_fever? I've dismissed th…

Haha Ivan I'm glad you have photos of those spots cause I didn't have a camera both times I went. Gordo didn't have jack and the dude working there hated me but the place across the way was alright. Carlinhos is the man, found a really cool afro fun…

This looks cool....really nice website. Interested to see how it goes, can't do this year but next year I'd love to make it.

Mr Magic - Potential 1980 pure fire.
-
Yeah I'm stoked on the new box too. Don't pay more than $600 for it, there are some good best offer deals on eBay.
-
Yeah I think the way to go is essentials on the internal and the library on the external.
-
Dude I forgot to mention to you that I did really well buying records at the Androgynous breaks spot last time I was up there. But no Androgynous breaks! You guys scooped them all.
-
Blue Note, without question.

I would just be a little bit wary of trying to move 500 units of it, considering it's been made famous by a beat junkie's routine, flipped by a top 40 artist, and there's some stock copies floating around. I don't doubt the quality, but the re-edit …

Currently - Rio de Janeiro, Brasil Back home - Berkeley, CA Doubt you'll get either... What's the up with health care in Brasil? You can wait half a day in line for terrible, free health care. Or you can get private insurance that is cheaper th…

I always hear that Treach had incredible stage presence live. OPP wins, but because of Tony D as others have said. Lotta great album cuts and even their 3rd and 4th albums were decent...I remember buying a rap collection in Richmond that these old …

NY murders the record game. Real talk. Only question is Japan vs. NYC.

Yeah, that's where I bought mine before, but even they are showing $900 for a 2x4GB kit to upgrade my Macbook Pro. Oh well, no way I need more than 4GB.
-
DOR/Rockwell - what's the best place to buy RAM for macs? I want quality stuff and I remember buying some aftermarket about 4 years ago, but forget where.
-
The educational discount only amounts to about a $100. Really? I get $200 off my Macbook Pro, plus free iPod, plus free printer. If you do the rebates and sell the iPod and printer, comes out to about $500 off in total.
-
Wait WTF why does it cost $1000 to get 8 GB of RAM in an iMac??? That is absurd, I'm really quite confused by this part.
-
ps i can't wait to get a new 15-inch Macbook pro when I get back...a friend brought hers back from France and it is BLAZING fast. Such a good deal with the education discount too. Do you professors get the free iPod deal?

Edit: They just released some plugins for one of the Nvidia graphics cards that accelerate performance in Adobe CS 4, but again it's mainly oriented around video and h.264. I think now is just a dead period for raw performance increases, and we won'…

At this stage you're not going to get better performance for web/graphic design coming from a video card. They are so fast that they're really going to help you with video rendering and 3d work but the margins between them are minimal when it comes …

Futile argument. They're all great stores, just different styles and focuses.
-
everyone is trying to do this right now, create a system of licensed extra content to encourage people to buy the music. Interesting to see how it will play out, but in the end it's going to be a matter of standardization - no one wants to have to j…

Dude, you make 2k selling sh*t like Charles Kynard??? Did you sell any big records? That's a lot of money to make off crap...

It's the goddamn horns they have there. I really hope they ban them for the world cup.
-
Four goals in one half. That was the worst half of soccer I have EVER seen a team play. Possession must have been like 90 percent Brasil.

F*ck!

that definately was in....
