Whitelabels are great DJ cartridges except for two things - L/R separation (have been issues in the past with microwave, but ive never had a problem) and exactly what you're describing Frank, upper bass feedback (this problem I have experienced). Wh…

Graham international is also a tax scam label, right? Isn't the 2nd press of 1619 B.A.B. on Graham, or am I mistaken?
-
Three different pressings, forget which is first. B&W seems the most common. One of the tax scam discography sites has the info I think.

Damn, I missed out on the last surprise show in SF too. I heard he killed it and was up on stage for almost 4 hours.

Yeah, I've been quite happy with the industria brasileira Phillips I picked up here in Rio, pretty much the same design as what Frank posted. Best portable turntable I've seen was with a certain celebrity diggeur...really slim white and red design …

LOLOL "The storm...iz....coming" Colbert's was funnier.

I saw Organized Konfusion, Beatnuts, Souls of Mischief, Common, & Mista Sinista at my community college in 94/95. Organized was my fave but Common put on the best performance. It was pretty epic but only 50 people showed up. That's Aptos, CA …

RAJ your kids always look so badass in every photo you post of them.

But only the bullshit and doubles. Need to stay lean in case I need to move. I don't know what the best place to unload the real crap is though. Goodwill/flea market? Bay Area People, any ideas? Sell it to Justin, but also over the hill in San…

Oh man, Xavier... once you hear the orig of "Maybe So..." you will not fusk with this dude's version. I mean, nothing against the dude, but that's a reeeeeal hard act to follow. Straight up impossible. It's not even that the New Holidays were some…

Man neither of these tracks are nearly as good as the heart-shaped 10-inch. He basically copied "Maybe So, Maybe No" note for note, and that song is already pretty much perfect as it is. This track is a bit better. Interested to hear what the album…

Hahahaha. True. I was kind of surprised I liked this because Black Milk's beats are usually about as gloomy as the state of the Detroit economy. California Soul is just one of those breaks that I never get tired of.

I think I need a Hip Hop vacation. M*rs told me years ago that he takes a week off once in a while just to clear his mind. I didn't think it as possible 'cause everything I hear is with a Hip Hop ear (that sounds freakin' corny, huh?). Maybe it's ti…

I'd be curious to hear stories about people actually getting money and how much from them...most of the competently run college radio stations have signed up with this and dropped thousands in order to avoid potential legal trouble, and are using se…

Dudes. Southwest or bust. Unless it's a place they don't fly, its the only airline I ever take in the states. Plus they seem to always overbook flights, which is awesome if you're willing to switch - I've gotten some pretty sweet refunded flights pl…

Some random cheap stuff, all Brasilian pressings.

I'll be back late July/early August... I demand a beer pong rematch.

Thanks for the tips both of you, great advice, pcmr I forgot that you were working out there too. I mean yeah at this point I wouldn't expect to roll up to a spot and load up like 12 copies of Telegraph Ave. (well...another strutter already did thi…

Whoa so this is Paypal's doing? Wow, I've never heard of this, strike down my earlier comment. Does this happen with the premium accounts or only with new ones? Somehow I'm guessing that once you've moved a lot of money reliably through Paypal this …

I don't know about the GOAT but those DJ Prince Ice edits from the Bay are really dope and slept on.

Do not worry. Ship it off normal airmail and you'll be fine. Japanese buyers are rad.

Try holding down the C key. Or then if that doesn't work try alt and option at the same time and you should be able to select the startup disk.

Pretty sure there is a key to hold down when you pop in the OS disk...hold up lemme look it up...

Can I remind you dudes that CA just passed a proposition revoking gay marriage? I'm really proud of my home state Vermont right now but we still have a long way to go. I still think it will happen though, probably within the next 10 years actually…

DOLLAR BIN!!! Coming through in the clutch! That just solved all my problems, I think the scripts were disabled or something cause I hit enter in the terminal and everything was suddenly perfect again. Here's some 45 rips for ya that I gave to a fe…
