  • Stax Records Museum Needs Your Help. 45s WANTED

    Hello fellow soul lovers,

    My name is Ted aka Abstrakt Sounds and owner of Nippon Groove Records. 

    As some of you might know during the 70s when Stax Records went bankrupt, the catalog was sold off to other labels. When Stax Records opened their museum they acquired back a lot of the catalog through donations. I have teamed up with the Stax Records Museum in Memphis USA to complete their 45 collection and we need your help. I am calling all collectors, soul lovers, musicians, artists etc...

    Below you will see a list. Everything in white is what they looking for. Only street labels ! NO WHITE PROMO LABELS. Some were never pressed on street labels so it will be difficult. They do except promo's if they are in the same street label setup. 

    If you have any of these 45's please contact me so we can work something out. This is your chance to contribute to an important part in soul music history and music history in general. All offers must be through donation! But lets talk first.
