But oil companies get immense tax breaks and subsidies apart from that.<br /> <br /> I mentioned the tax break that people get for auto mileage earlier. In 2011 business travelers are able to deduct 51 cents for every mile driven. It's seldom talked about but that's a huge subsidy in and of itself.
