	I would think that if one were a mentally ill homeless person arrested for your basic garden variety non-violent homeless person type crime.  Then a few months where you actually might get the attention you need wouldn't be so horrible, considering the alternatives.</div></blockquote>

	Mental health care in prisons is generally atrocious.  I have no problem with involuntary commitment to actual psychiatric care facilities, though, in these kinds of circumstances.
