I've never heard that form of the disease referred to as "anal" cancer.<br />It's "rectal" cancer, which I think is a more dignified way of describing it.<br />Some call it "colo-rectal" cancer in reference (obviously) to the colon. <br /><br />My friend's mother passed away from this form of cancer as well. It is an ugly disease.<br /><br />R.I.P.
