But the best shape I was ever in was when I was working at 8am (instead of 7 now) and getting to the gym at 5:15am. I'd eat a banana on the way for some quick fuel, lift weights for an hour then run, step, or elliptical for an hour or 45 mins. If I had the time to go before work in the morning that's how I'd still do it.
