Therapists are purposefully NOT supposed to bring their personal life into a patient/therapist relationship and assuming this guy managed to keep that professional distance with you, what he does in his personal life, no matter how incredibly reprehensible, would seem to fall outside of the legal standard for malpractice. </blockquote> I know, you're probably right. I'm just skeezed by the whole thing, and the fact that he's getting away with such a little penalty makes me want to sue the shit out of him to hit him harder. Unfortunately at this time it does turn me off to therapy. I find something disconcerting about sitting there speaking about my problems to someone who is a bit more fucked in the head than I am.
