I came across a promo 45 from '73 for Ex-Lax, One side vocal ("No one's gonna love you if you don't help yourself") and one side instro.
Here's some clips. It was almost definitely done in NYC, and I have some ideas who the session players might have been (though I have no way of knowing for sure) - anybody here have any guesses as to who it might be?
