The man made me laugh more than any other comedian growing up. His sense of corny, lowbrow humor is right up my alley.

I'll post some YouTube clips when I get to my laptop later.

The first time I saw this movie, I laughed so hard, I was in pain for hours.

RIP to one of the all-time greats.

  • Although short-lived, the original Police Squad series is my favorite tv show ever. Almost all of the jokes from the Naked Gun movies came from that series.

  • This is one of those deaths that hits me the most, mainly because I don't want to believe it. Nielsen was, is, and always will be one of my favorite actors. Going to watch Airplane! tonight.

RIP, Airplane and Police Squad are both near the top of the funniest things I've seen in my entire life.

Also, Forbidden Planet is a fantastic film.

  • RIP Leslie Nielsen.

Top Secret was pretty damn good although not as good as the Airplanes.

    RIP.

    Thank God for stupid humor.

I'll watch The Other Guys in his honor today.

Dude, don't disgrace his legacy like that...

I introduced my 10 old son to Police Sqaud this weekend and we spent the best part of Saturday night cracking up. I hadn't seen it for 20 years but just as funny as I remember and my kid loved it. RIP

  • I watched Dracula: Dead And Loving It after watching Airplane!, and I had forgotten how great that film was. Just an all-around great film with Nielsen, MacNicol, Brooks and Korman just killing it with their lines.

Project: Kill: him vs. Gary Lockwood (w/ "exotic" Nancy Kwan) is the money! It's now one of those public domain gems.

Yeah I dug out my old copy last night as a tribute. Still one of the funniest TV programmes I think I'll ever see.

    For lines like this alone:

  • David Zucker wrote a very nice letter about him in the Hollywood Reporter:
