Glossy vs. Matte Computer Screen

God damn... I HATE Glossy computer screens.

If I needed a mirror, I'd go to the John. If I need to see my kids greasy finger prints, I'd look at my iPad.

Matte is getting harder and harder to find too.

Boo... what's your take?

    Just got a new 15" Macbook Pro and I'm loving the vibrancy of the glossy screen. Everything looks much sharper and colors more betterer. Is there a way to switch between screen functions, anyone know?

    Also MacBook Pro 15" glossy here.

    Sitting on the balcony is a horror with the reflections.
    But there are real good foils you can cop for like 15 bucks or so. Gotta look for a link later on

    When I got this macbook pro the alternative was matte, but then then you have the old macbook softscreen pixel problems. Not sure if this is still an issue.

    17" MBP here, matte. Not feeling the gloss at all.
