Paypal 21 day holds (F U-related)

Um, I sort of did a search but never really found anything concrete. Is there any way around this shit? Both me and the seller have decent feedback, old accounts, and whatever else. I read that if the buyer leaves positive feedback, the funds get released but I'm not leaving feedback without receiving the item and he's not sending the item without money. Anything?

    Well, the seller just refunded my money so that's that. Anyone have Voyager RME they want to sell cheap?

    So, I picked up something else and according to Paypal, it doesn't fit my "usual history" so they restricted to me only sending an eCheck which takes f*cking forever to clear so I have to wait to get my precious toy. Anyone deal with this shit before?
