I am looking for some good podcasts/online radio shows to listen to while working(i'm out of the loop when it comes to the podcast thing). Finding music/dj mix shows seem pretty easy to find, but what's up with some podcasts to nerd out to. Stuff like graphic design, typography, graff, kicks, etc. On the design tip, I found "Rookie Designer"..but it's pretty boring. I like some of the "Weekly Drop" show(for hypebeast type dudes), since they have interviewed some graphic designers I dig(as well as an interview w/ Bun B). So any recommendations for some shit to check out while I work? I am open to pretty much anything honestly. What's good?

which is a live show at a theatre which is recorded and posted up for podcast. there is music and comedy bits and if you listen to the 3rd podcast, the voice of jerry the limo driver, is me. its safe for office listening but there is some mild profanity - especially on the second show!

  • Cool, thanks for the suggestions..i'm about to check em out. And also, profanity isn't really a problem(as long as it's not on some Howard Stern having a porn star riding a motorized dildo steez).

  • I'll take this moment to shout out my dude's 'cast. A semi-weekly hip-hop podcast. Pretty consistently good, with some cool theme shows every once in a while.

I never post mixes on here, but here is the link to all the FleaMarket Funk mixes I've done for the past year.

    I really like this show.

It's a radio show rather than a podcast.

It's very British, and maybe a little too twee for some of you brash americans.

It's hosted by the comedian Bill Bailey, and they invite guests in to talk about obscure, weird and wonderful, stuff.

It is a comedy show, but the guests they get in are really interesting and knowledgable. For instannce they had Alastair Fothergill, the guy responsible for making the Planet Earth, and Blue Planet, and Frank Close, the Professor of Physics at the University of Oxford.
The idea is that they talk about some amazing factoid from their field, but keep it entertaining, without beeing dumb.
