baby grand i'm talking about was mainly jazz funk releases from mid-late 70's. cali based.
some of the stuff is next level, some is mild fusion muzak moments. add on to this list if you notice something missing! or direct us to a discography! i haven't found one yet.
that one looks wicked, popsike shows a dead Best Sounds auction !!
thanks for the overview r*ch!
No audio.....My last copy went to CoolChris......my brother seems to find sealed titles on Baby Grand quite often in Atlanta....I'll ask him if he can add to the list.
for real there are two different labels called baby grand. one is a tax shelter label outta cali with lots of sick funk hidden in the roster, circa 70's. the other is a current hip hop label?
anyway, that is dope about the Disco Ladies. i didn't know that record was on baby grand.
keep em coming. pretty soon we'll have a more complete discography for Baby Grand than any other page on the net.
Clydie King also has a record under her own name on Baby Grand. pretty rare stuff, recorded around the same time as her Tiger Lilly session, i smell some sort of link there.. tax scam ---> tax scam.
It's called Clydie King Steps Out.... pretty cool record.

Zweebop was released twice
There are a few bad rock LP's
And a really bad spacey/prog/jazz one
Terea is the highlight and Black Rain has 1 or 2 good cuts.
