jp rodgers "all my lovin" on inculcation :real nice modern soul joint.
variations "saying it/papa was a rolling" on amour : their best imo. two funky soul numbers from oakland.
jessie james "are you gonna leave me" on shirley : vg- (but plays pretty good) local piece that fetches upwards of $1500. same cat on the zea, tted, hit and 20th century.
helena ferguson "im so glad/rather go blind" on congress: nice funk track with a soulful flip.
Bronner Brothers "I'm Not That Bad A Man To Love (A Talk To the Ladies)" on neighbor : okay modern ballad from ATL
C and the shells on cotillion : some dj promo. one nice northern dancer and a cool ballad.
...and a couple other things that i cant remember.

that was a great collection of disco/soul 12s up at plan 9. when did you hit it? i walked in and saw M*ke and Tr*y with huge stacks at the listening stations and was about to go postal with jealousy. got a few nice things though. weird thing is there seemed to pieces from that same collection at one of the thrifts.
--Never have too many bird records --Mint 'Big Ego' --"Strategic Defense Initiative" (ugh!) --Frightwig complete with press kit and glossy photo of the women --Minted up my Crucifucks LP --Al Green's speaking voice is nice, comes with script so "you" can interview Al --There's been a rash of great Panther-related happenings/releases lately --Big.Black.Box --Mingering Mike book, I've read it cover-to-cover. Fucking beautiful --The 12+12 record is awesome --Clean Live Skull, also got the 12" with the 9 minute version of "Pusherman" which is mindnumbingly good
