i'm not talking modern soul or 80s funk either...been trekking all around chi lately and even in the farthest 'burb i be seeing flourescent faux izods w/ collar up. it's not so much the ladies fashions that irk (fishnets and big ol pornstar sunglasses bring back memories of ginger lynn) but the guys with bright blue shirts, white slacks and sebagos???and that's just the "preps", all these indy rockers watching old New Order videos and catching ideas needs to stop as well..[/rant]

This has been happening around Grand Rapids for about a year or 2. I hate it!
sayin though, if you're going to sport collars at least buy a real izod...
seen any of these?
I havent seen any, and I hope I never do!
Oh shit! Scrunchies? Who brought back this Full House Kimmy Gibller look anyway?
please no!! maybe for ladies, NOT FOR DOODS. male cameltoe gets the gasface!
i made a pair... i definitely have a ball hanging out... i gotta find some tighty whiteys..... or a jockstrap or something... but converse and ball hugger shorts is gonna make for one helluva good summer!
jellys (in any form) best not come back either..
beware the cut off!!
That's not going to be localized if it's on MTV. I'd be willing to bet there are kids in Manitoba walking around like that.
that brings up a good point, it's mainly the young'uns rocking collars. the folks old enough to remember the 80s know better then to bring out their red michael jackson jacket, zippers and all...
yeah the collar thing has got to go...but say what u want..lacoste/izod aint never going out of style. Same with Polo.
been back, cop at urban

Is it always laundry day in blogbuzz land or what?
anyone pic up the latest issue of Mass Appeal? Mia is in there wearin tight ass stone washed jeans with the pant legs tucked into some neon socks sportin some reeboks and a mickey mouse sweatshirt.
they aren't izod, they are lacoste, and although flourescent colors aren't my choice, i tend to wear the collar up.
The only flourescent I own is Lime Green FLO which I got at the POLO outlet.
No Fonzie collars and definitely no double polo action.
ah.. a connoisseur.
well, if you've been doing it since the 80's then props to you for holding out until it became cool again.
if not.. hmm.. i guess props to you for being trendy.
and on the off chance that these reasons don't apply and you use the popped collar as support/aerodynamics/shade or whatever.. then i sincerely apologize if you've been offended.
popped collar for support~! ha!
I'm still waiting for those 80's mod jackets (Think they were called james jackets) to come back.
WOOT.. I need to go steal a vespa now!!!
