is there an accapella of just gil with no accompaniment? my mind remembers having heard it at some point but shit if i can remember. if you have it digitally and can hook up that would be even better. plain old info will work though in this case as well thanks a lot guys and merry xmas

    Flying Dutchman released 2 different versions of the song:

    Small Talk at 125 & Lenox[/b] - Gil Scott-Heron does a version with only percussion



    Pieces of A Man[/b] - the more funky version with a full band and Bernard Purdie on drums
