    I'm sad that James Brown recorded with the Bay Ridge Band, but it's probably still not his worst effort evar.

    Good choice--also Dr. Octagon... both albums that inspired entire discographies that the world would be much healthier without.

    After 25 years of digging I wish this LP never existed....


    If a murder is ever committed with a copy of this LP as the weapon I'm pretty sure I'd be a suspect as my fingerprints must be on more than a million copies of this sucker.

    there are always those soul and jazz guys from the 60s and 70s who did records in the late 70s early 80s with tight leather pants and pink sweaters or space man outfits who i feel sorry for. like the bar kays for instance.

    Sorry Faux, Dr. Octogon is dope and was nothing like anything else that hiphop delivered up to that point. I don't care what it spawned. Nirvana spawned a ton of dogsh*t but I'm not hatting.

    Oh, don't get it twisted--I am not condemning Dr. Octagon solely because it inspired a lot of other bad records.

    No, I am comfortable saying that that record is itself laughable trash.

    I'll give you laughable - it's supposed to be. I guess it's even
    supposed to be trash, so it succeeds there, too. I got a kick out
    of it for a couple of months.

    Snoopy Dean "shake n bump" on Blue Candle, i hate that damn record!!!!!!!! A guy who did other sooo good tunes on the same label, how can he sing on that awfulawfulterrible record..

    It was also played at the Blackpool Mecca in the UK in the haydays of northern soul and that's also a mystery.. must've been the drugs..
