They did about 10 years ago, for sure. Too bad Robbie didn't go back to work there when he got outta the joint. Out of all the Austin spots, I'm pretty partial to Artz these days.

The sauce at Rudy's was about all they had... The meat there is so it ain't funny.
Goode Company? The only Houston spot I know of. Less "authentic" maybe, but I remember it being pretty good.
Cashless, speak up!
Goode company is tight. Carl's back yard on 290 is pretty damn jamming. Aser was telling me about some spot here that I never heard of, and I was put to shame by a Canadian that never even been here.
what is a coogarita? That's prolly just at the UH location (U of H Cougars, the name coogarita prolly came from there). I never seen a "coogarita", but then again, I usually only go the the one on MLK because the rest are like in mall foodcourts and ain't really jamming.

THANK ODUB!!!
It's more about brisket and sausage down here though.
Memphis and NC 'po to have the best pork BBQ.
Why do they even sell beef ribs when you got pork?
F'real, I would say one who has "given up red meat" should eat pork. It ain't red meat.
PREEEEEACH!!!
NO DIGGITY!
now are you more a sauce man or are you about the meat preperation?
it's all style. i'm a northerner so if the shit is good imma fuck with it.
however dudes w regional styles are pretty serious about thier own regional style.
Texas
Memphis
Kansas City
etc.
enlighten dude cuz y'all could do it better than me.
please send a dude some brisket please.
The best is when the two halves come together to form an unholy union.
But if pressed, quality of the meat/meat prep is most crucial. (And I'll just go ahead and "AYO" myself now for having typed that)
Rudy's BBQ got that sauce though!!!!

Dood, I'll trade the best brisket going for type mp3s and whatnot all day long!
Meetcha in the Funk/Pshyc thread!
true, i hardly even fuck with ribs.
1. Ribs
2. Hot Wings
or
3. Catfish
they will never make fake meat taste as good as the real mccoy.
fuck a bunch of ribs.
i'm cooking shrimp gumbo tonight.
all y'all come over and grab a bowl.
COOK IN WEST COVINA OR YOURE SOFT
I'll one up you, Coonass-to-Coonass: This weekend, I'm defrosting the shrimp gumbo I made two months ago.
Why does it taste so much better after sitting in the freezer?
Co-sign when in Atlanta!!!
Cashless, speak up!
gives all dem spices time to mix and mingle...
thelma's is the best, followed by camphouse heights and good company....
unless you want some NC styled mustard/vinegar sauce,
in which case Luling is fantastic!

But my favorite is...
MLK location or you're soft!!!
No Harlon's? Come on now... That's a htahn institution. MLK or you're soft.
if you ever happen to find yourself in greenville, nc at lunch time and you like pork, go to B's
But my favorite is...
