Well, from what I've read there's a very interesting history about Ruth Copeland being a british folk singer. That came to the US around 1965 when she's about 18 years old. Moving to Detroit, and getting discovered by Edwin Starr, and eventually marrying Motown producer Jeffrey Bowen. Which led to her music career where she worked with Holland Dozier Holland, and co-wrote this track:

She gets pregnant, and ends up leaving Motown for Invictus. Where she eventually links up with Parliament to help them co-write the underrated album "Osmium
I really hate talking about Records on Soul Strut anymore, because I barely can afford most of these records nowadays. I love to hear more about the history of the artists. It would be dope to get an Unsung, or Tales of the Tour Bus about an artist this interesting.
