this is what immediately came to mind when I saw the thread title.

    b/w

this is an obvious one, but still:

if I hear the opening chords of either one of these LPs I feel like I have to sit down and not do anything else until they've finished playing.

    Hey,

I would these as perfect LPs:

    -"Off the Wall"-Michael Jackson
    -"Sketches in Spain"-Miles Davis
    -"Hissing of Summer Lawns"-Joni Mitchell
    -"Exodus"-Bob Marley & the Wailers
-"Mecca and the Soul Brother"-Pete Rock & CL Smooth
    -"Ptah the El Daoud"-Alice Coltrane
    -"I Want You"-Marvin Gaye
    -"Houses of the Holy"-Led Zeppelin
    -"Maiden Voyage"-Herbie Hancock
    -"I Am"-Earth, Wind, & Fire
    -"Talking Book"-Stevie Wonder

    Peace,

    Big Stacks from Kakalak

Some threads materialize in such a way to make me a believer in a collective unconscious.... I was just thinking along the "perfect LP" line while I was blasting this Yusef joint in the truck today:

Eastern Sounds is another one, but Detroit is as good as it got for its time IMO.

Tough. Not sure that this exists.
One that comes close for me though, Happy end's 2nd:

The Impressions - The Fabulous Impressions. Can't get enough of this one. Definitely my favorite one. Although, I havent heard Times Have Changed. Can't seem to track it down.
