Here goes mine: I went to this lady's old house. She said she had her son's records to sell. It turned out her son died 30 years ago, he was in the Airforce and died in a plane crash. We went to his room upstairs: it was time travelling. The room was all '75, like the day her son died. Her eyes full of tears as we check the records. The boy must have been 18 - 20 when he left this world, and was some sort of amateur DJ. I left happy with the records, sad to see a life could end that easy.

damn. I would have felt bad buying the records

  • Who posted last time about going to some old douds house and the guy is buried in old newspapers & pornos. Then when the time comes to pay, he "propositions" them. Somebody's gotta dig that up.

Nrich and I go to this one dudes house, he is a 450 LB shut-in with security cameras outside and monitors all over the house...his records are crap, but I do find one, a Tokyo Happy Coats 45, ask him how much he wants for it and he says "A loaf of bread"....really he wanted a loaf of wonder bread for the record...sounded like a good deal to me.

Yep, at first I was uncomfortable, but it wasn't that she was needing the money. She said something like "music is supposed to be enjoyed"
