I gotta confess ever since Vegas last year, I was bumping a lot of electro house in the car. and raging at the clubs. Shit gets old. Don't know if if it was all the nostalgic talk yesterday, but the past 24 hours, been listening to some soulful shit:

Wu-Tang Enter the 36 Chambers
Soul Boulders 2 (gawdamn)
John Coltrane Giant Steps

What yall been listening to, records or otherwise?

  • Hello,

I've been listening to Everybody Knows Lp by Steve Lawrence. I think the album is soulful because the cover has a great picture of Steve smiling. Side two starts with the chart Hello, Dolly; a nostalgic number from the musical. And side one is great two. The orchestra, probably like 20 heads) is conducted by Joe Guercio. On the production is Robert Mersey who reminds me of George Martin except more humble. The record is kinda short maybe 15 m a side, however; for a dollar that is not too bad. And the cheapness helps me keep my soul full (lol).

It is in near mint, looks unplayed, prestine.

Ps. Don't let the sun catch you crying by Steve Lawrence is a lot different than by Gerry and the pacemakers. I would say it is more soulful.
