    ill.

  • Isn't there some LP which is Eastern Europe only but was recorded in the UK or something by a group who otherwise only made one 12"?

    Does that ring a bell?

 This is so bad it that it could be produced in Germany as well. Sounds like Frank Farians production skills with some greek schlager-flavouring.

  • It was the Antilles LP I was thinking of. It's Yugoslavian-only from what I understand. I have never heard it though. I don't know if fit in the category "modern soul".

    DRAGANA ??ARI??(BEBI DOL) - MUSTAFA(1981)

Not exactly Modern Soul but sick beat in the beginning. Has this been sampled before?

Found some more. Youtube is such a great place:

    Grupa Zdravo - Vikend Fobija

    Moulin Rouge - Ljubavni Ritam

    Boban Petrovic KUPATILO JE SHVATILO

    KIM - Teraj Po Svome

An UK-group actually. The album was released in UK and in Yugoslavia. And their best track "I've got to have you" was released as twelve-inch single in France and in UK.

Great track, still on my want list!

Woops, didn't realize or know there was an English version! You're right, this is awful, but I stand by the OG Yugo version.
