I know some of you will find this to be the corniest thread ever, but if the shoe fits....I've come to realize that this is a serious problem I have. Some 10 years ago my imaginary friend suggested I take occasional vacations from Post Hip Hop?, a week or so here and there where you step to everything and anything except Hip Hop music. I tried it then and to this day I just can't seem to do it. I step in everything! Folktronica song? I kick drums behind it. Jazzercize? I kick a loop that can be tweaked. Disc-O-Rama? I stomp raps. Retro-Soul? I sweep a loop, chop or a possible excerpt from Chorus Line.Reggaeton music? "Hmmm...those snares could be hype."And I'm a casual stepper ! I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for a shoemaker/producer!I would love to appreciate heels as is, but I'm afraid I'm forever tainted.

I had high hopes for this thread. It had potential to be a great parody but alas, it fell flat.
