DC's bestest and dancingiest DJ night - "Brazilian Rhythms" with DJ Neville C. returns this Thursday (7/16) to Cafe Saint-Ex (1847 14th Street NW) stating at 9:30PM. Neville is dedicating this month's soiree to his new daughter (7 days old today!) so look (and listen) for lots of female artists including Gal Costa, Nara Leao, Joyce, Elza Soares, Elis Regina, Alcione, Clara Nunes, Clementina de Jesus, Rita Lee, Quarteto Em Cy, Claudia, Beth Carvalho, Maria Bethania, Marissa Monte, Maria Medalha and many more. He'll sneak a few guys in there too to balance things out.Samba, MPB. tropicalia, samba rock, forro, bossa nova, jovem guarda, hip-hop, balie funk and more.No cover as usual. Paz e Arroz.
