Hazing?

It's about 3: 30 am in California and I'm working on my final paper. I am sitting downstairs in my apartment, and I can see out into the parking lot.b, 21b, 21I just saw a bunch of individuals walk by window about 15 minutes ago. There were like 10-20 of them and at first I thought they were people leaving from a party or something (in a single file line? on a Tues night?). It was strange but I ignored them and felt stupid for leaving the blinds wide open at night in a house full of girls.b, 21b, 21Then a couple minutes ago, I saw the same group of people walking back, except this time I got a better look. They looked like young men (college aged) marching down the parking lot in shorts with their heads facing down and their shirts pulled over their heads. I assume it's either fraternity hazing (I live in college town) or a really weird cult. If it wasn't hazing, then I'm kind of creeped me out, and I'm glad they didn't (or did they?) realize I was watching. This was obviously meant to be secret.b, 21b, 21It's been foggy and cold lately and those boys are probably freezing their testicles off. b, 21b, 21I've never been hazed and don't think that my body can generate enough warmth to put up with that crap. Any experiences?b, 21b, 21back to my paper...

But I also don't have low enough self-esteem that I would put myself in a position to be hazed int he first place.

    I was in a fraternity and played a sport in college and I must say my Lacrosse team hazing was waaaaay more hardcore than my fraternity hazing. It was hardly a fraternity anyway... just a bunch of party dudes... we ended up losing our charter because we had no involvement with nationals and never paid our dues.b, 21b, 21Both hazing periods simply involved massive amounts of drinking... it was wild, but no physical abuse and not demeaning in any way.     I've never wanted to be apart of the fart house experience or seen hazing outside of the stereotypical Kevin Bacon "thank you, sir, may I please have another?" type of thing on TV, but there must be some sort of Freudian explanation for this behavior. I'm guessing that these are the same ones who pantsed and towel snapped their nude buddies in the high school locker room
