That was just like rugby. The question is if it works so well why don't they do that all the time? I'll grant that it's pretty ugly to watch, but it seemed to confuse the hell out of the defence!
i would guess they don't do it all the time is because the odds of successfully pulling off 12-14 laterals in one play without a turnover are pretty slim.
I thought the same player couldn't receive a lateral more than once on the same play? Obviously not the case, as the same guys received 2 and 3 laterals, but I could have sworn that was a rule ...
yeah that bounced lateral through me for a loop...didnt have a real legit feel to it.but what are the odds of bouncing a football to an intended reciever????!?!

Crazy, if only they'd taken out a band member out at the end too...
Ha - I was thinking the same thing.
That last lateral bounce was the hotness.
I thought this was a bit unnecessary. It's not like you can dream up a crazier finish in ANY division.
"The Play" excepted, of course
Yea, but you obviously didn't count the 2 "lateral fakes".
It seemed like the defense slowed down after a while, like they couldn't believe the ball was still live.
haha. yea.
yeah towards the end it really looked like most of them gave up.
