I was listening to Sundown Lady yesterday and I realised that this album can bridge the gap between soulstrut and waxidermy. On one hand it has some serious soft-rock/aor appeal for the dermists out there but it is also latin/jazzy/(mayefunky) enough to appeal to strutters.This should be dollarbin common so if you see it pick it up.     her version of "love song" is the best i've ever heard. the rest of the albums ok, but that track is amazing.

    Oh shit, I just finished "Feeling Good" part 2 today ("Feeling Even Better") and "Love Song" is the 4th song there. Awesome.

    I have found Lani Hall in many cheapo bins abandoned but I will always pick it up and find nice homes for her. It's one of those that make you feel good and look good over and over again.

    Listen, "Love Song" is not the only great track on this album. The last song on the first side is like mystical beach side mellow exotica. I feel like I'm floating on waves of her voice eatin oats out of a coconut bowl.

    Furthermore, the second side is great.

    I agree there are two or three mediocre cuts, but this is not "dollarbin garbage".
