Karlophone says..(soulstrut a pornsite?)

Ha..I was just reading an email that K##l just sent me.Unfortunatly he's stuck at the charlotte SC airport overnight(boo us AIR!!)(which is not the "HA" part of the story).Good thing he has free internet access there right?Funny thing is.He was trying to get on this site(soulstrut), but there was a firewall blocking the site and apparently for the reason being:"pornography" Has anyone else had any similar situations like that.I have had situations like so, but never saying it was pornography.If anything would be blocked I would assume that sites like myspace or youtube would be as close to porn.But he can get on his Myspace ok(I hate that site,fucking weird)Any stories?     yeah iwork in a school and use to browse soulstrut until it was blocked under...pornography

    The strut got blocked at work for me, and i talked to some of the IT guys about they. Said it was probably thread titles like 'record porn,' etc. that their algorithm caught, and marked it as a porn site.

    they offered to unban it, but i've been so much more productive at work that I'm waiting until may when a couple projects are finished.

    thanks age for passing the goofiness along. i just made it home, only 14 hours late. USair = The Devil. One good thing was that Achewood wasnt blocked (despite all sorts of random naughtiness in the strips), so i read every strip from 2002-2005 in a row, in one sitting. It felt productive, i burned up 6 hours, and i was entertained.

    and yeah, my bad on the SC/NC thing. i actually thought i was in SC for about 5-6 hours there. without a single f*****g USair representative on staff anywhere after 10 PM, there wasnt too many people to ask about such things.

    dude, no apology on my account, i hope; to me, this just highlights the silliness of using an algorithm to just search for words. hell, if 'ass' is a porno word, then two of the crossword puzzles i've done this weekend would be banned.

    not saying this place is always squeeky clean. but, 'record porn,' and 'porn clerk stories,' do not a pornsite make.
