http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...49835&rd=1&rd=1Don't get me wrong - this actually has a pretty great soul jazz song but $300? Am I missing something? I thought this was more like $50-75, tops.

When you sold it did you rep that Shadow sampled it in a major way and post an audio sample? Cause I feel like people go banannas when they get to hear the sample to a big song.

I was ready to bid on this up to $65, but 500 is absurd. Their auctions must be getting a shitload of traffic from people with $$$.

Seems like a trend too, I keep seeing more and more college/high school/no profile records like this pop up on eBay.

is Imagination flight a college jazz band standard?

I have it on another LP form a college in Washington and wondered how many other versions of the track there are

I'm saying, who would have thought a "Endtroducing"-era DJ Shadow sample would garner that kind of luh.

whhadupp dudes. 2 cents: i'll have to agree with every statement made in this thread except for the one about this LP being tepid turdery.. btw, the winning bidder is a good guy so plaese to not tarnish his baller status..

but yeah, school bands are the new modern soul.

I thought they were the old modern soul--weren't they hot around 1999?

yeah, when that stage band funk comp dropped.. but it's the cycle. i imagine that modern and latin will be hot again in a few years.
