lately i can't get enough of that "we rap more mellow" furious five ("the younger generatoin") joint on brass records...

  • Haha.. Have you heard that song Rez? I think its good, but a little bit expensive on eBay..

What happened to that other post? Guardian Angel is deep disco!.. but the beat sounds like an early-rap instrumental. Very goodtimes-ish..

I love the Guardian Angel piece - it's fun - Universal Two is not so good to me - sold my copy earlier this year @ ??30 UK - nice price for Peter Adams collectros - didn't move...not like Guardian Angel!! Whew! Toon...

  • Am I wrong, or was all of theese also released on 12"s?

    If so..

The Tricky Tee Rap sucks. The Sweet Naomi rap sucks. All just weak overproduced Peter Brown productions.

Is the Rapper Dapper the same as Rapper Dapper B? Very "stressful" rap, but a really cool beat. I'll play ca 6 mins of that record, I just can't stand the rest. Maaann 12 mins?? Hell no!

  • Funky Four Plus One More - Rappin and Rockin the House

  • Crown Heights Affair - Body & Soul

We need more like this! Disco songs with rap or chanting! Any others?!

I like songs with less rap and more instrumental jamming. Disco songs with a first-school hiphop feel.. Just listen to Mr. Magic - Potential 1980! All time fav. Its on the Third Unheard comp.. I guess the OG on Magic Records is too expensive?

This song is 10 min instrumental deep disco jammin, and have ca 8 bars rap! + extra "party-chants" Ohhh

    heeey hoo heeey hoo

  • cat claw/ golden rule 12"
    ronnie g/ raptivity 12"

  • Funky Four Plus One More - Rappin and Rockin the House
