Hard Times, Baby Huey or Curtis?

Which do you prefer, and why?

Used to think Huey hands down, but lately the Curtis version sits better with me.  I really don't know why?

I like Curtis' version for it's smoothness and Baby Huey's for it's dissonance, I ride for both.

It's never been a question for me.  The Baby Huey version is as genuine, raw, and angry as it gets.  It makes me want to break things when I hear that beat too.

    Plus it has classic line:

  • Baby Huey all day.

  • There is no question. I listen to Curtis' other songs far more than I do Huey's others but for this song, it's Huey. Reasons similar to what everyone else has said!
