There's a great 19 minute take of "Escape-Ism" on the CD of Hot Pants.

I've never heard this full version. That's one of my favorite JB tracks, and the original LP version always seemed like coitus interruptus to me. Any possibility of ripping and upping this, JohnB? That would be much appreciated.

I can have it up later tonight, but if someone beats me to it that's fine. I'll try to have it up soon.

I wouldn't not have pinned you as a "peach head".

Nate-Dogg, my tastes in musical genres know no bounds. I forget, I haven't posted any new finds lists in a while; they used to be all over the map. T**i has had me on a vinyl moratorium for a while. I can't blame her, though. I think she's gonna take me off restriction soon. I've been good!!!

    Peace,

Don't forget 99% of Hindustani music. If you're into tabla, or just ridiculous beats in general, check out Pandit Sharda Sahai's solo album ( that is actually with his son), and Anindo and Anubrata Chatterjee's Paramapara. Actually, I'll post a little something something later tomorrow.

Definitely. Ali Akbar Khan has the well known "100 Minute Raga", which is laid over four sides (or 2 CD's for the digitally capable, or one big ass MP3 file if you wish to append files).

    Sonic Youth "The Diamond Sea"
Does Goldie "Timeless" count? It should.
Coltrane's "My Favorite Things" is about 90 seconds short but I'm counting that one too.

I used to used Knee Deep as a timer while getting ready for school. If it ended before I was ready that meant I was late.

I'm bending the rules a bit and choosing a few 10-minute burners...

Martin Dumas - Attitude, Belief and Determination (10 mins)

Pepe Braddock - Deep Burnt (10 mins)

Tubby Hayes - Down In The Village (10 mins)

Bourbon and Maxx - Mystery Man (10 mins)

Mustang Sally on the Grand Bahama Numero Comp is a good one, Jay Mitchell I think?

I made a anti-mixtape of 10+ min songs recently & let the whole track play.  With a 90 min limit I had to keep it under 7-8 songs, tougher than i thought it would be narrowing it down.
