Some of those mixes are pretty fancy in fact. The first song is Alexis Korner. The second song is Listening. The other ones are a mystery to me at this juncture, although I'm supposed to bring a rather knowledgeable psych dude a copy next time I see him. I know that heads desire to know the deal, so if he can shed light on anything I'll post it. I have the feeling that some of those are
    on some type business.

  • i googled this the last time it came up a few months ago.

    hey thanks.
if anyone can fill in the blanks it'd be great. especially the two cuts that sound definitely like they are from the 80's

I disagree with a few things on there. The first two tracks mentioned on that list arent even on the psych mix. Plus, Alexis Korner sang for CCS (under which name the song was released) Maybe he also released it solo?. The Listening didnt write 'stoned is', im pretty sure that was by another group.
And what is going on with the timing on the side of that list? taken from an MP3 of both cds put together I imagine.

They covered it though... can't remember the name of the group that originally did it.

Another discrepency is that the Hunger track isn't Trying to Make the Best, it's a 45 only track that's a little different than the album version of that name. Again, I can't remember the title of the 45 track. Gee, some help I am here

The last track is the one I'm after. Killer shit no doubt.

I believe the original group is Cynara.

The track at 94:30 is a 45 out of Hollywood by "We the People" on Reena. The song is called "Who Am I?"

    here is a picture:

  • Also on there is "World Of Ice" by the British group Sweet Slag.
    Suicidal, commander.

I believe the original group is Cynara.

You've got it backwards. The Listening wrote and first recorded "Stoned Is." A few years later, Cynara, which also included Michael Tschudin, recorded a shitty cover version.
